We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your project content to train AI models. We do not use your confidential project information for advertising or marketing by other parties.
Re:name uses commercial AI services, which may include Anthropic and OpenAI, to process project inputs and generate project outputs. Under the providers’ commercial and API terms, customer API content is not used to train their general models by default. Providers may retain limited data temporarily for security, abuse prevention and service operation, subject to their applicable terms and Re:name’s account settings.
The strategic judgement, naming decision and final use of any name remain yours. AI is part of how the service works; it is not a substitute for your decision-making.
AI processing is essential to the service. If you do not want your project content processed by commercial AI providers, do not begin the project and contact us under the cancellation terms in our Refund Policy.
Your data may be transferred outside New Zealand for processing. We use providers we believe maintain appropriate security and privacy commitments. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas providers handle your information consistently with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and other applicable laws.
Your project remains accessible in the platform for 180 days after your final Decision Report. After that, project content may be held in a restricted archive for a further 180 days for support, recovery and dispute handling, after which project content is deleted unless law requires longer retention.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so to the extent legally possible. Financial records we are required to keep cannot be deleted.
